很多人邊唱著孫燕姿的綠光來到了冰島，想要一睹傳說中「看到了就會幸福一輩子」的極光。追極光，其實沒那麼容易，特別到了極圈之後氣溫超低，沒有全副武裝和做好功課加上一點幸運，很難遇得到！CNN整理了如何在冰島賞極光的建議，旅客們請參考！
到冰島賞極光，記住一點，選對季節很重要。10月~3月是極光季，到了當地之後一定要先查極光網站。萬一發現強度很強，那麼就要趕緊移動到黑暗的地方等待。
其次是地點，以下就冰島各區介紹：

1.南邊：
可以賞極光的點包括Grotta lighthouse (光害最少)、Perlan、Hljomskalagardur Park、Thingvellir National Park。在首都雷克雅維克市中心也有固定的巴士班次帶旅客賞極光。如?雷克雅維克探險?(Reykjavik Excursions, Vatnsmyrarvegur 10 BSI Bus Terminal, Reykjavik 101 Iceland)

2.西邊：
可以賞極光的點包括Snaefellsjokull、Akranes、Borgarnes。知名旅遊網站寂寞星球最近才報導冰島西部是2016年賞極光最佳處，除了極光之外，這裡還有冰河、山脈、熔岩以及冰洞等地景。雷克雅維克市區也有吉普車行程帶旅客前往，如?北極冒險?(Arctic Adventures - Day Tours, Laugavegur 11, Reykjavik Iceland)

3.北邊：
冰島北部擁有最壯觀的地景，像是雷鳴般的瀑布以及溫泉。Akureyri是北邊的是中心城鎮，裡面有豐富的藝術展、運動活動、精品店以及餐廳。光害不多，也是一個滿棒的賞極光地點。旅客可以參考當地行程?至尊冰島?(Extreme Iceland - Day Tours, Vatnagardar 12, Reykjavik IS 104 Iceland)

4.東邊：
冰島東部是人口最疏離的地區，不過這邊卻有很多羊。潟湖也是這邊令人驚嘆的奇景之一，像是Jokulsarlon也是賞極光的良好地點。可參考當地行程Icelandic Mountain Guides Day Tours, Bankastraeti 2, Reykjavik 101 Iceland。
